All Equegym horse walker units are precision manufactured in Southern Germany by our partner company Häring Metallbau GmbH.

The first unit was designed and developed in 1999 when a local equestrian centre approached Herr Häring and asked him to build them a horse walker. Herr Häring studied the construction of the typical merry-go-round style horse walkers and was certain that he could produce significant design improvements.

Traditionally designed units use a central floor mounted drive mechanism that unfortunately takes up the entire central area with machinary. Herr Häring, a development engineer and talented designer, set about making improvements to this and other short comings of the traditional 'star' configuration horse walker designs. The result is our unique orbital drive mechanism which has now been patented worldwide.

The company now ships horse walker units all over the world and is still privately owned by the Häring family. Herr Häring and his son, also an exceptionally talented engineer, are still actively involved in the day to day running of the organisation, research and product development.

Every unit is precision manufactured and subject to extensive and rigorous quality control procedures that ensure the highest standards are maintained.
